What's the difference between a crown and a bridge?
A crown, or cap as it is called by many, is a covering which is fixed in place over a single tooth to protect and strengthen that tooth. A bridge, on the other hand, treats multiple teeth. It is one way to replace missing teeth by connecting a series of crowns together and attaching to teeth in front of and behind a gap to fill the gap.
